Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:00). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract.

• 13-week travel assignment in a beautiful coastal community serving a culturally diverse patient population
• High-risk obstetrics experience with RNs circulating on cesarean sections
• Unit capacity: 11 rooms, 15 beds with average daily census of 15-20 patients
• Postpartum experience preferred; comprehensive Labor and Delivery/Mother-Baby care
• 40 hours of paid orientation to support your transition
• First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1-3 patients
• Willingness to float to sister facilities within scope of practice as needed (travelers float first)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must not reside within 50-mile local radius
