Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Must be flexible working weekends. Patient ratio 2:1. Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed. Guaranteed hours with potential for one call-off per two-week pay period.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu of Advanced AWHONN), BLS, and NRP
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be able to circulate and recover cesarean sections, apply internal monitoring devices (FSE and IUPC), and manage postpartum hemorrhage including blood transfusions
• Experience with newborn care, non-stress tests, and Baby Friendly protocols
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
