Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:00). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract.

• 182-day travel assignment in a beautiful coastal community
• Work with a culturally diverse patient population in a high-risk OB setting
• 11 rooms with 15 beds; average daily census of 15-20 patients
• Postpartum experience preferred; RNs circulate on cesarean sections
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float to meet facility needs within scope of practice
• Clean background check required (facility does not accept background check discrepancies)
