LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Burlingame, California.

Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Burlingame, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Mid Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Every Other Weekend
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a busy Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. This role provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period in a collaborative acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, high-risk births, and circulate/recover C-section patients.
- Perform fetal monitoring, maternal assessments, sterile vaginal exams, and obstetric triage.
- Administer medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and other obstetric therapies.
- Deliver newborn care including APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, cord care, infant assessments, and parent education.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic.
Requirements:
- Active California RN License.
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Experience in LDRP, antepartum, postpartum, and mother-baby care.
- Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
Schedule & Facility Highlights:
- Mid shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
- Every other weekend rotation.
- No call required.
- Adult, adolescent, neonatal, and infant patient populations.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team supporting Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby services.
This assignment is ideal for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with strong fetal monitoring, obstetric emergency, and postpartum care skills who enjoys providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting.
