Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Cambridge, MA | ️ 12 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Candidates must have prior travel experience, strong L&D skills, and charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatric teams, and interdisciplinary staff
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts RN License
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Acute care experience required
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Charge nurse experience highly preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Assignment Details:
12-week assignment
36 hours per week
Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required
Every other major holiday required
No block scheduling
Local and travel candidates accepted (50-mile radius)
