Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with combined L&D and Mother/Baby experience for a night shift assignment requiring holiday and weekend rotation.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Combined Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby patient care experience required
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (18:00-06:00)
• Requires working Labor Day and weekend rotation
• Floating within scope of practice as facility needs require
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner
• RNC-OB certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
• Strong charting proficiency, time management, and communication skills with providers

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
• Team player with strong communication skills with providers
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at local rate
• RTO must be submitted with application; call-outs restricted to no more than one week
• Availability for holidays should be indicated during consideration
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
• Completion of facility training modules required prior to and during assignment
