Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking experienced RNs with a minimum of 3 years in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This position accepts first-time travelers and requires EPIC experience.

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for:

• Providing care for low and high-risk L&D patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
• Utilizing external fetal monitoring and recognizing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Circumventing for C-sections and managing triage in a busy unit.

Unit Details: The unit consists of 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU, and Post-Partum with 24 OB hospitalists and OB anesthesia available.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Use of External Fetal Monitoring
• Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-sections
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced RTO must be on the submittal

Please note the following:

• 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) are mandatory.
• On-call duty is required two times a month in addition to the 3 scheduled shifts.
• Must be willing to float if needed to Perinatal.
• Will be placed on call if not needed for a scheduled shift.
• No RTO the first two weeks of the assignment; 1 Holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed to be approved.
• Must work most holidays.
• Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless to cancel time requested. Confirm all dates needed off for the full 13-week contract.
• No more than 3 days RTO maximum.
