Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby
Location: WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Location : Lebanon, PA 17042
Job Requirements
Active RN License
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Community hospital experience required
Epic charting experience required
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
Required Certifications
BLS
NRP
AWHONN Intermediate
ACLS (Preferred)
AWHONN Advanced (Preferred)
Clinical Experience
Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, LDRP, and Level I Nursery
Vaginal deliveries and C-Section circulating/recovery
External & Internal Fetal Monitoring
Obstetrical triage and sterile vaginal exams
Neonatal Resuscitation and newborn assessments
APGAR scoring and newborn stabilization
Breastfeeding/lactation support
Postpartum care, fundal assessments, lochia/perineal care, and patient education
IV therapy, blood administration, central line maintenance, and infusion pump management
Administration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Terbutaline, Prostaglandins, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and anticoagulants
Experience Caring for Patients With
Pre-eclampsia/Eclampsia
HELLP Syndrome
Placenta Previa & Abruptio Placentae
Preterm Labor & Premature Rupture of Membranes
Multiple Gestation
VBAC & Trial of Labor
Postpartum Hemorrhage
Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension
Diabetes, Cardiac Disease, Asthma, Seizure Disorders, Infectious Diseases, COVID-19, and other obstetric complications
