Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Works in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Uses Meditech EMR system
  • Required to work every third weekend
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required as needed within scope of practice
  • 13-week contract length

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required
  • Two professional references required from within the specialty

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Locals are welcome to apply
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to return as a traveler
  • Block scheduling may be discussed during the interview process
