Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Eureka, CA
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Duration: 26 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x12s (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Epic experience required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
- Experience circulating C-sections
- Experience with high-risk deliveries
- Proficient in fetal monitoring, NSTs, sterile vaginal exams, labor management, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
- Experience administering Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Terbutaline, antihypertensives, and blood products
- Strong IV therapy and infusion pump experience
- Must have all required L&D skills and experience
Unit Details:
- 15-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
- Self-scheduling
- Float required within scope to meet facility needs
- Adult, Neonate & Infant patient population
- Approximately 20 patients daily
