**Charge Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN Opportunity!** Join an exceptional team as a Charge Nurse in our Labor and Delivery Unit! This role offers you a chance to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real impact on families during their most important moments. **Key Details:** - **Position:** Charge Nurse (L&D RN) - **Location:** Alaska - **Assignment Length:** Choose between 13 or 26 weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** 3x12 or 4x12 nights - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year with Charge Nurse experience preferred - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **On-call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Work:** Yes, every other weekend - **Floating:** May float to like units if needed - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility - **Pending Licenses:** Accepted, but must have license in hand for auto offer - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours every 2 weeks (can be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks) **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing:** 5-10 patients - **Labor & Delivery/Antepartum:** 7-14 patients - **Unit Overview:** - High-risk LD unit with 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR suites, and 4 PACU rooms. - Average daily deliveries of around 7, with potential for up to 14 patients, including inductions and high-risk antepartum. - OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients daily, along with an influx of triage patients. **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility and Level II Trauma Center - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking for all staff **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
