Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1-2 years of L&D experience, with night shift availability and a valid NM or Compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a women's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• 4–6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1-2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP (pending certifications accepted)
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No RTO approved during the first week of orientation; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved for the duration of the contract
