Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Start date: 09/27/2026. Provides direct nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns before, during, and immediately after childbirth. Responsible for monitoring vital signs, managing pain, assisting with deliveries, and educating families on postpartum recovery in a critical care environment.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: Valid Nursys License, Driver's License/State ID, Ascension Profile, three (3) years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), and proof of professional references and resume.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating interdisciplinary care, documenting patient conditions, and assessing discharge planning needs. Critical thinking and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment are essential. The traveler will be required to work up to six weekend shifts and holidays as departmental needs dictate.
