Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) This position is based in the labor and delivery department of a healthcare provider. The role involves providing obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Job Details
Position Type: Travel RN in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Certifications, Education, and Experience: ACLS, BLS, NRP, at least 2 years of L&D RN experience, licensed to practice in AL (no NURSYS Hits)
Additional Information: The RN holds shift accountability for providing care during various obstetrical phases, demonstrates critical thinking and leadership skills, maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities, provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel, and ensures safe delivery of care.
Must be within 50 miles of the facility.
The position is open for immediate start, with an anticipated duration of 13 weeks.
