Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Professional in a facility setting overseeing obstetrical care during night shifts. The position offers flexible options for 36 or 48 hours per week, with a focus on high-quality patient care in a unit managing 15 beds and daily census of 100-200 deliveries. This opportunity is suitable for experienced candidates capable of handling high-risk deliveries and specialized obstetrical procedures.
Job Details:
Location: Night shift (12-hour shift), minimum 36 hours per week, beginning 10/12/2026 and ending 01/11/2027.
Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including antepartum care, high-risk delivery assistance, and use of external fetal monitoring. Experience with obstetrical patient triage, sterile vaginal exams, and central line maintenance is required.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The position involves caring for neonatal and adult patients, with interdisciplinary support including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Travelers may be required to float within similar units as needed, and orientation modules are completed onsite. Labs are expected to be scheduled within 48 business hours after contract start.
