Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) professional located in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized obstetric care, supporting high-risk deliveries, managing maternal and neonatal health, and assisting with various obstetric procedures. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts during Day hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certifications. A valid state or compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal. No prior staff must have returned as a traveler within the past year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor and Delivery, Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• Patient Ratios: Labor: 1:2, Antepartum: 1:3, Mother/Baby: 1:3.
• Charting System Experience: Epic (Electronic Medical Record System).
• Additional Responsibilities: Administration of blood products, assisting with high-risk deliveries, sterile speculum exams, epidural anesthesia, postpartum care, neonatal assessments, and use of fetal monitoring equipment.
• Unit Details: Supports neonatal and adult patient populations with an average daily census of 14. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes.
• Onboarding: Completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules are completed onsite during orientation.
