Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a high-risk delivery unit. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients in labor and delivery, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies. The position requires a commitment to a night shift schedule, covering every other weekend as needed, and holiday coverage based on unit needs.

Job Details

  • Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery
  • Experience Required: 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing experience; scrub experience a plus.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 10/11/2026
  • End Date: 01/09/2027
  • Required Qualifications: Current Nursys license and valid license or certification verification. Professional references and ascension resume and profile submission required. Certification in Labor and Delivery preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk delivery and NICU on-site.
  • Additional Information: The unit is a 12-bed labor and delivery unit with a high risk delivery focus, equipped with 2 operating rooms. On average, the unit handles approximately 150 deliveries each month.
