Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position available in a high-volume healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for high-risk obstetric patients, managing labor and delivery processes, and supporting postpartum recovery. Candidates must have experience in high-risk obstetric settings and be prepared to handle a diverse patient population.
Job Details
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid compact license, BLS certification, NRP certification, at least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, proficiency with EPIC charting system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal protocols; JADA experience preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates should have experience in High Risk Obstetric care, including Magnesium sulfate administration and postpartum management. Ability to manage high-acuity patients and handle census surges. Candidates may be required to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location. Candidates must be flexible to work 3 out of 5 holidays and adhere to specific scheduling and RTO requirements. References covering a 1-year period within the last 3 years are required.
