Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Mount Pleasant, Texas. This full-time position involves providing specialized nursing care for obstetric patients from 20 weeks gestation onward, including labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, emergency evaluations, and postpartum surgical patients. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the labor and delivery specialty and offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Two years of experience in the related nursing specialty. Valid RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), National Certification Corporation (NCC) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in perinatal RN residency or recent practice in a perinatal setting.
• Additional Information: Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. All new hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete onboarding requirements including competency validations. Completion of annual competency verification is required.
