Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Location: unspecified. This seasonal contract position involves providing specialized care in a Level 4 maternal center with a high volume of complex pregnancies. The role requires supporting a team dedicated to high-risk maternal patients, performing various procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
Job Details
Position Description: Seasonal contract for a Labor and Delivery RN for 13 weeks, scheduled days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no on-call requirement.
Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse, graduation from an accredited nursing program, proficiency with high-risk maternal patient care, and circulating in operating room and triage areas.
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The unit is a Level 4 designated maternal center caring for the most complex patients at any gestation. Staffing includes approximately 100 staff members, with a focus on team collaboration, fast pace, and adaptability. Experience in Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage procedures, and related surgeries is preferred. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for this role.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate experience with high-risk maternal patients and circulating in the operating room and triage.
