Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility. This per diem role involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients with experience in magnesium sulfate postpartum care. The position requires working nights, with a focus on maternal and neonatal patient care in an acute care hospital setting.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS, NRP; Education Requirements: current licensure as an L&D Nurse; Location Requirements: candidates must hold a valid state license; Experience Requirements: minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week;
Additional requirements include experience with cesarean sections, high-risk antepartum care, postpartum management, vaginal delivery, and specialized equipment such as phototherapy;
Clinical responsibilities involve managing high-risk obstetric patients, postpartum care, and neonatal assessments;
Float: Float rotation may be required within the division, including L&D, NICU, and recovery units;
Candidates must include responses to specific pre-employment questions regarding previous experience at a healthcare facility, references, and availability for orientation and shifts.
