Job Summary: This Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is located in Lima, Ohio. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care to patients within the hospital's L&D department. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with an emphasis on collaboration with non-registered staff and adherence to clinical protocols. Flexibility with work schedule changes is essential for success in this role.
Job Details:
Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Working a minimum of 36 hours per week, with every third weekend required
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of OB (Obstetrics) experience
Completion of at least one travel assignment
Must have the ability to function as a first assist and scrub OB - highly preferred
Current work history skills checklist pertinent to OB/GYN, valid within the past year
Active Ohio or Ohio-Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Active S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in labor and delivery nursing in a hospital setting
Additional Information:
Lima's local traveler policy will result in an 8% reduction in the travel rate for eligible candidates.
