Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a prominent healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA. The position involves providing family-centered, compassionate antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring positive birth experiences and patient safety. The role requires flexibility to float to labor and neonatal intensive care units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift for 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of RN experience in postpartum care, baby care, antepartum care including antepartum monitoring, fetal monitoring experience (certificate not required), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and experience with postpartum, baby, and antepartum care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a family-centered, multidisciplinary care environment, ability to manage antepartum and postpartum patients, and fetal monitoring proficiency.
• Additional Information: RN will provide care to a diverse urban population, including children, adults, and older adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. No holiday requirements; may need to work 1-2 weekends per month. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:3, which may vary based on clinical needs.
