Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Marshall, Michigan. This position involves providing professional nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery department, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to ensure patient well-being and comfort. The RN will coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Birthing Center experience of 2 years, experience with laboring patients, delivery, newborn care at delivery, and postpartum care, and a minimum of 1-year pertinent clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, willingness to obtain NRP certification if not active.
Additional Information: The RN must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, include all time-off requests in the profile during submission, and provide a current profile with a valid address and vehicle ownership. Active Michigan (MI) license is required prior to start.
Submission Requirements: Skills checklist current within the past year pertinent to Labor and Delivery, two supervisory reference forms completed within the past two years, and documentation of current BLS certification.
