Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee.

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a Level II Obstetric and Neonatal unit located in Dickson, Tennessee. This position involves providing comprehensive care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, as well as neonatal care. The unit is staffed with highly experienced registered nurses and offers an excellent environment for professional growth in obstetric and neonatal nursing.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Fetal Monitoring training, and OB nursing experience including labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal assessment. Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and OB emergencies preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of fetal monitoring, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil), and ability to handle multiple OB procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, and intra-uterine monitoring.
  • Additional Information: No techs or unit secretaries available; unit utilizes Meditech and CPN documentation systems. Staff are cross-trained to float within the unit as needed and are experienced, supportive, and team-oriented. Uniform required: pink and/or brown scrubs per unit policy.
