Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN North Austin Medical Center 4th Floor. This seasonal contract position offers a 13-week assignment for experienced registered nurses specializing in labor and delivery. The role involves providing care in a high-volume, Level IV unit with a focus on patient safety, fetal monitoring, and procedural support.

Job Details

  • Location: North Austin Medical Center, 4th Floor
  • Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department
  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days and nights), with alternating weekends; no call requirements
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours minimum
  • Position Description: Seasonal contract for RN in Labor and Delivery, lasting 13 weeks, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications, proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring, C-section circulation, and SVE competency, with internal monitor placement and high-volume unit experience preferred
  • Additional Information: Must have skills including EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-section circulation; previous experience in Level IV high-volume units preferred
  • Submission Requirements: In accordance with staffing procedures, candidates are expected to meet the specified qualifications and provide proof of certifications upon application
