Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) located in the organizations healthcare facility, this position involves providing specialized obstetric care to patients in a dynamic clinical environment. The role requires delivering high-quality maternal and neonatal services, ensuring patient safety, and supporting unit operations during night shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Compact with at least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics nursing and current certification in AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring; current certification in Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring is preferred; at least 3 years of experience in high-risk OB.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery procedures such as C-sections, spontaneous vertex deliveries, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries including cesarean sections, scheduled and emergent hysterectomies, and massive transfusions.
• Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps and CADD epidural pumps.
• Candidates must be highly engaged, motivated, and possess a positive outlook, with a team-oriented approach.
• The unit staff is experienced, with a good mix of tenure staff and nurses with 1-2 years of experience, operating in a highly collaborative environment.
• The unit is Level III Maternal Designation and Level II Neonatal, accredited by the Joint Commission for Womens Health.
• The team features a self-scheduling process amongst staff and maintains strong physician relationships.
• This position is for one or two openings, with a start date of October 26, 2026, and end date of January 25, 2027.
• Submission of application requires current Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification and at least 2 years of high-risk OB experience.
