Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing direct nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department, supporting patients through antepartum, intrapartum, surgical, and postpartum phases. The position offers a dynamic work environment requiring flexibility and clinical expertise to meet patient care needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Arrhythmia Course; 1-2+ years recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience; valid licensure to practice in Pennsylvania; 0+ years of experience for the position.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
The Labor and Delivery RN will provide direct nursing care for patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, surgical (RN circulates), and postpartum recovery settings. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, assistance during childbirth, and neonatal care. Scrubs must be changed into hospital-provided scrubs each shift. The EMR used is Cerner and GE Centricity. The unit comprises 11 beds, including 3 triage beds, 2 PACU beds, and 2 operating rooms. The facility requires compliance with hospital standards and protocols, and the position is available for an immediate start date.
