Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Oklahoma City. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care within a facility's labor and birth unit. The RN will support expectant mothers through active labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Current healthcare provider license, BLS certification, certification in electronic fetal monitoring (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience at a hospital that delivers between 350-400 births monthly, and residency or work authorization in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a labor and birth unit with approximately 15 labor beds, with patient ratios estimated at 1:1 or 2:1. External fetal monitoring equipment is used, and the primary electronic medical record system is EPIC.
