Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Durant, Oklahoma. This role involves providing obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for patients over 20 weeks of pregnancy. The RN will be responsible for ensuring safe delivery and postpartum care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership. Floating to post-partum or nursery units may be required.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; 3 or more years of experience in Labor and Delivery; General educational background suitable for RN licensure; valid state RN license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a post-partum or nursery setting; proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system; ability to float to post-partum and nursery units.
- Additional Information:
- Number of beds in unit: 6 Labor and Delivery rooms
- Patient ratio: 1:1 or 2:1 during labor and postpartum care
- Scope of role: managing pregnancies over 20 weeks, labor, and postpartum care
- Scrubs: Provided or maroon-colored scrubs
- Blocked schedule cannot be accommodated
- No call required
- Scrub and schedule accommodations are not guaranteed
