Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care to patients including females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and those scheduled for procedures like C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage, and triage issues. The position requires an active RN license in the relevant state and at least three years of experience in labor and delivery. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, three days a week, on a rotating basis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the state/district, BSN degree (highly desired), minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience, current certifications including NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, especially AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) intermediate electronic fetal monitoring.
• Additional Information: The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative activities, and deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean). Common equipment used includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems. Candidates must be able to live at least 100 miles away from the facility location.
