Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care within a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and ensuring the well-being of both mother and newborn. The candidate must be experienced in postpartum nursing and capable of managing complex maternal and neonatal needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required, 3 out of 6 holidays required, with no on-call or float requirement.
- Required Qualifications: - Minimum 3+ years of Mother baby nursing experience required; ASN degree required, BSN preferred. - Licenses & Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, AWHONN certification, and C-EFM. - Skills: MOTHER BABY NURSING, LABOR AND DELIVERY, POSTPARTUM CARE, ANTEPARTUM CARE, NEWBORN CARE.
- Preferred Qualifications: - 5 years of experience preferred.
- Certifications & Licenses: - BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- Experience: - Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and neonatal nursing preferred.
- Education: - ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Start Date: 08/24/2026.
