Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Tennessee. This position involves providing care on a 14-bed unit requiring prior clinical experience and travel experience. The role involves circulating responsibilities and working night shifts, with a focus on supporting maternal and neonatal patients in a dynamic hospital environment. The schedule is nights, with hours totaling 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:

- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Fetal Monitoring certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TN (Multistate RN license or multistate privilege), at least 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, circulation ability, and the following certifications on file at the time of submission: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, TN or multistate RN license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery nursing, previous work in a similar hospital setting.
- Float: Float to Helping Hands in NICU and Post-Partum may be required, but float rotation is not mandatory for this assignment.
- Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28. No time off will be approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. The hospital has a 14-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2. Scrubs are provided. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner/GE Centricity. The unit makes its own schedule, and the organization will conduct interviews and extend offers.
