Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to obstetric patients, including circulating during deliveries, within a 14-bed unit. The position requires flexibility to meet staffing needs and support both L&D and associated units such as NICU and Post Partum.
Job Details
Position Description: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/26, 11/16, and 11/30. The position involves a 12-hour night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Fetal Monitoring certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TN (Trauma Nursing), or multistate RN license, with at least 2 years of RN experience, including prior travel experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to circulate during labor, flexibility to meet staffing needs, prior float experience to NICU and Post Partum units.
Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must be able to circulate, with no block schedule offered. No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live. The unit utilizes Cerner and GE Centricity electronic medical records systems. No float required.
