Job Details:
Position Description: The unit is a 10-bed Labor, Delivery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with a Level II nursery and an operating suite. The RN must be competent in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care, with primary emphasis on experienced Labor and Delivery nursing.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). No specific education or degree requirements are listed, but a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with 3 shifts per week. The schedule may include every other weekend, with the possibility of shift cancellations at will.
Additional Information: The role requires experience and comfort with both mother and baby care in a birth center environment, including managing labor, postpartum, and nursery duties. The facility uses the MEDITECH charting system.
