Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for female patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings. The role supports the units activities, including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative, and delivery procedures, utilizing common equipment such as fetal monitors and documentation systems.

Job Details

  • Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring.
  • Education Requirements: Registered Nurse licensure and required certifications.
  • Location Requirements: Must live at least 50 miles away from the healthcare provider.
  • Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required, with at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery preferred.
  • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must live 50 miles away. All compliance items, including a national background screen, current license verification, vaccinations, and certifications, must be submitted within 7 days of assignment start. The assignment is a rapid start with expedited onboarding. Candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer with no pushed starts allowed.
