Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Helena, MT. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, requiring expertise in obstetric procedures and newborn care. The role requires active certification and experience in a hospital setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Rotating shifts, consisting of day and night 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certifications. All certifications and Medical Technologist (MT) or compact licenses must be active and on file at submission. At least 2 years of OB experience with Operating Room (OR) Circulator experience is required. EMR experience with Epic is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OB procedures and OR circulator duties.
Additional Information: This role may involve floating to Medical Surgical (MS), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Emergency Room (ER) departments for assistance or patient overflow. The hospital provides scrub uniforms in sky blue. All schedule requests and time off (RTO) must be included at submission; requests will not be approved post-submission.
