This position involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires clinical expertise in labor and delivery units, with the flexibility to float to medical-surgical units as needed.

Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications; 2 years of labor and delivery experience; willingness to wait for licensure; certification and license to submit.
Responsibilities include providing care for postpartum and nursery patients, labor and delivery support, and documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Flexibility to float to med-surg units when obstetrics are closed is required.
Preferences: Med-surg unit float experience is preferred but not required.
Certifications must be current and compliant with hospital policy.
Clinical environment includes 4-bed units with 1:1 care during labor and 1:3 for postpartum/couplets, with rotating day/night shifts and every third weekend.
Additional Information: The position starts on 10/19/2026 and ends on 01/18/2027, with a rotation every 3 weeks and typical every third weekend schedule.
