Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position is located in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role involves managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. The nurse will work within the scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applying the nursing process to patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of labor and delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring certification; certifications include BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP; willingness to obtain licensure in Oregon; experience with OBIX and EPIC systems is highly preferred; electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and STABLE certifications are highly recommended
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OBIX and EPIC electronic health record systems, certifications in EFM and STABLE
- Additional Information: The candidate should be prepared to work every other weekend. Submission must include a resume and a skills checklist completed within the past year. Certifications do not need to be active at time of submission, but the candidate must be willing to obtain necessary licenses and certifications as needed.
