Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Maternity and Neonatal care in an en_US setting. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level 2 maternal/neonatal center with a focus on antepartum, obstetric, newborn, OB/GYN, and NICU patients. The role requires candidates to work overnight shifts and adhere to established protocols to support patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience, EPIC electronic medical record experience, NRP certificate, intermediate or advanced electronic fetal monitoring certificate, STABLE certification, medication administration experience with glucose, magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, Iowa license or multi-state license, ACLS, BLS, and drivers license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Nursery/Mother-Baby and Postpartum experience, NICU experience, travel experience within last 15 months.
• Orientation Dates: 09/21, 09/28, 10/05, 10/12, 10/19.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care for antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients; monitor fetal well-being via electronic fetal monitoring; administer medications, including glucose, magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin; ensure compliance with SOPs and protocols.
• Submission Requirements: Demonstrated recent Labor and Delivery experience, valid certifications, valid license, and professional references within 24 months.
