Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department (L&D) nurse opportunity located in Mission Hills, California. The position involves providing quality care in a busy acute care hospital environment, with a focus on supporting neonates and adult patients. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a facility that handles significant delivery volumes and complex cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California license must be in hand; ACLS, AWHONN advanced certification, BLS, NRP; minimum 0 years of experience required; experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with neonates and adults; current Fire Card in Los Angeles is required
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Labor and Delivery units with a volume of at least 200 deliveries per month; strong familiarity with obstetric emergencies and interdisciplinary support services
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float between similar units within the state as required; 24 hours orientation; candidate response must include prior employment at a facility as a permanent, temporary, or registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked; references covering 1 year are required prior to start; candidates must be able to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays; compliance with background and license verification policies is mandatory; submission should include responses to specific candidate questions regarding prior employment and recent Fire Card.
