Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse opportunity available in a healthcare facility, offering night shifts with flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week. The role involves providing specialized care to obstetric patients, including high-risk deliveries, maternal-Fetal Medicine procedures, and neonatal care. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses with a passion for maternal health to contribute to patient outcomes in a dynamic setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program, pending certificates acceptable); 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; previous charge experience preferred; experience with antepartum, anticoagulation therapy, high-risk delivery assistance, C-section circulation, use of electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exams, labor and delivery, and neonatal care.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high acuity obstetric cases, Neonatal Intensive Care, and multidepartment collaboration.
Additional Information: Travelers are expected to float within their scope, with brief unit orientation provided. All modules are completed onsite during orientation and recorded via transcripts. The role is scheduled to begin on 10/12/2026 and end on 01/11/2027. All candidates must have or obtain pending certifications prior to start date and comply with the facilitys hospital policies.
