Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients in a hospital setting. The RN will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, manage labor and delivery processes, and respond to medical emergencies. Cross-training for Med Surg and Emergency Intensive Care Unit (EICU) care may be required.
Job Details
Position Description: Provides maternal and newborn nursing care, including initial assessments, medication administration, labor management, and neonatal care. Responsibilities include handling obstetric emergencies, fetal heart monitoring, and patient education.
Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing; Wisconsin Registered Nursing license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire; STABLE within 1 year of hire; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of hire; 0 years of minimum experience.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Cross-training within Med Surg and EICU may be required.
