Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Location: Not specified. This role involves providing professional nursing care for postpartum patients in a healthcare facility. The L&D Nurse will independently utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized care to women through labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, demonstrating age-specific competencies and utilizing relevant clinical protocols.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA License, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certification, and at least 2 years of experience.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for neonates and adults, support interdisciplinary teams, and manage patient diagnoses and procedures related to labor and delivery.
Additional Position Details:
Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
Requires 7-year work history verification.
Candidates with previous charge experience or community hospital exposure are preferred.
Onboarding and compliance documentation due 10 days prior to start date.
No weekend requirement, no float requirement specified, no on-call details provided.
