Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in an acute care setting. This role involves the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for obstetric patients. The RN provides direct patient care, patient and family education, and manages transitions of care with a focus on high-risk obstetrics. The position requires delivering holistic, individualized care and fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate certification; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system; no on-call requirement; weekend rotation required
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Additional Information: Must have previous charge experience, experience with patient ratios of 1-2 in antepartum, and charting system experience with Epic. Experience with high-risk obstetric procedures and fetal monitoring accepted. The facility handles approximately 200-300 deliveries per month, with a patient mix across adult obstetrics.

• Experience Requirement: At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
