Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Delano, California. This position entails delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the Labor and Delivery department, following established standards of care and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
Position Description: Focused on delivering comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), RN licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor, AHA- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS certification, STABLE Certification, AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM). No minimum experience required but relevant experience is preferred.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves collecting relevant patient health data, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, providing patient education, participating in discharge planning, and ensuring a safe and healing environment. Floating to Bakersfield may be required as needed.
