Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Reedley, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, following established standards of care and the nursing process. The RN supervises and directs activities of nursing staff, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and provides patient education and discharge planning in a supportive, healing environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Reedley, California
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required; RN licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; minimum of 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, develops care plans, implements and evaluates interventions, collaborates with healthcare team, provides patient education, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties as appropriate.
