**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Labor and Delivery!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Location: Building B, 2nd Floor - Number of Beds: - Labor Beds: 11 - OB Evaluation: 4 - OB PACU: 2 - Operating Rooms: 2 - Total Staff: 79 - Night Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff Nurses, 2 OB Techs - **Patient Ratios:** - 1 RN/2 Patients - 1 RN/1 Patient - **Equipment:** - GE Fetal Monitoring - **EMR Systems:** - CPN, Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Skills:** - **Required:** - AWHONN Fetal Monitoring - Experience with Couplet Care (if floated) - **Preferred:** - Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Transition Nurse/Baby Catching skills - **Typical Procedures:** - NST, Cervical Exam - Managing Labor, Titrating Medications, McRoberts Maneuver - **Best Personality Fit:** - Thrives in organized chaos - Enjoys diverse patient load - **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AWHONN EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - **Additional Information:** - Dress Code: Hospital infant security scrubs - Weekends and On-Call: Yes (filling in as needed, typically not scheduled) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
