Job Details
Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. Education requirements include a valid state or compact license in good standing.
Years of Experience: 2 years of relevant labor and delivery experience; minimum experience required is 0 years.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, labor & delivery procedures, postpartum care, neonatal assessments, and handling obstetric emergencies using Epic charting system.
Preferred qualifications include experience with trauma level I or II, labor patient ratios of 1:2, antepartum ratios of 1:3, and knowledge of community hospital settings.
Additional information: The role involves working in a unit that manages 100-200 facility births per month, with interdisciplinary support services available.
