Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Pleasanton, California. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the labor and delivery department, following evidence-based practices and hospital protocols. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and their families throughout the childbirth process. Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university, and zero to one year of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery or maternal-child health nursing is preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN will create a healing environment by providing emotional support, monitoring patient progress, and responding swiftly to emergent situations by activating appropriate emergency protocols.
